Description & Technical information
Designed by: Joseph Maria Olbrich, around 1902
Dial with inlay in white metal, brass, mother
of pearl and different woods, hands made of steel, 8-day movement
A similar model with a dark casing and columns at the side was presented at the 1902 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Turin. This model was, however, much larger.
Our clock is a little jewel and unknown till now. It reveals Olbrich’s mastery
