Provenance: Reputedly in the Private Collection of Arthur Sambon (1867-1947), France. Irrespective, stand and pavonazzetto marble base prove this sculpture comes from a 20th century European collection.
With ‘Mythes et Legendes’, Paris, 1992.
Private Collection of Mr Alessandro and Maria Anedda, acquired from the above on 14.06.92 (accompanied by original invoice from 1992 and French cultural Passport 152572).
