Description & Technical information
This superb bronze bucket used for holy water has a flared ringed body with strong moulding at the top, the narrower base decorated with six groups of four small punched holes. In exceptional condition and with a beautiful deep rich green patina, our example retains its original horseshoe shaped swing handle, the sockets with well-preserved stylised animal head motifs, the details of which remain clearly discernible.
