Description & Technical information
The container of slightly flattened conical shape; the silver tip with finely engraved birds in flight on a stippled ground. The lipped opening with scalloped gilt silver mounts showing a monkey flanked by a parade of animals on a stippled ground with two diamond patterned protrusions on either side of the opening and a central ring around the shaft to which a silver carrying chain is attached.
