This model of beaker was shown in February 1915 in the exhibition "Kriegserinnerungsartikel" [War Souvenir Articles] at the Austrian Museum for Art and Industry (today’s MAK) together with other patriotic craft objects. The colours of three flags are reflected in the decoration in a stylised form: black and yellow (House of Habsburg), red-white-green (Kingdom of Hungary) and black-white-red (German Monarchy).
