Lowell Libson is sponsoring Gainsborough’s Landscapes: Themes and Variations which opens on 24 September 2011 at the Holburne Museum in Bath. It is the first exhibition in fifty years devoted solely to Gainsborough’s landscape paintings and drawings, bringing together remarkable works from public and private collections, many of them little known and some not previously exhibited. Lowell Libson has a long-standing interest in the works of Thomas Gainsborough and his contemporaries.
