Albert Roosenboom was a Belgian painter of figures and genre scenes. He received his artistic training from the renowned Belgian artist Constantin Meunier. Roosenboom mostly painted romantic scenes of children at play that represented typical fashion and daily life of the Brussels bourgeoisie during the late 19th century. From 1869 onwards he started exhibiting his works at the salons of Brussels, Ghent and London.
