The ibex and the egret were created for the 1911 spring exhibition of the Vienna Hagenbund.
In the following years, the figures were shown at numerous exhibitions: in the
winter of 1911/12 at the Austrian Museum for Art and Industry in Vienna, in
1912 at the Great Art Exhibition in Dresden, in 1913 at the Munich ‘Crystal
Palace’, in 1931 at the memorial exhibition at the Vienna Secession, and in
1937 at the Exposition d´Art Autrichien.
