Shown on the cover of the abridged version of J. & J. Kohn's 1908 sales catalogue, the suite bears a likeness to other models designed by creative genius Koloman Moser. Probably due to lack of commercial success, this model was offered in the company’s sales catalogue for a few years only and was modified as early as 1916. The lateral oval element was replaced by upholstered padding supported by a plywood panel and positioned between the seat and the armrest (Renzi, p. 222).
