Bakhshayesh is located in the northwestern region of Iran, in the province of Azerbaijan. The name Bakhshayesh is linked to one of most impressive productions of the area. The heyday ends in the 19th century. Nowadays, Bakhshayesh is just one of the small villages around Heriz, where modest, good quality carpets are being knotted.
