Description & Technical information
The Baluchi live mostly in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran. Although their patterns seem close to those used in Turcoman rugs, there is no direct kinship. Their roots and history were never clearly documented . Many tribes live in Khorassan and their identity has kind of merged with the local population.
Turcoman and Kurds use the Turkish knot, but Baluchi mainly use the Persian knot.
