Description & Technical information
Flowers appear in many of Privat-Livemont’s poster designs and prints - such as three large lithographs of decorative flowers, published in 1903 - as well as in a handful of independent still life paintings. The present sheet can be likened in particular to a very similar watercolour of tulips of c.1902-1904, as well as a watercolour study of Arum Lilies.
Provenance: Private collection, New York.
