The cover chased and engraved with a trophy of love including a pair of doves, a flaming torch, trailing roses and Cupid's bow and quiver, similar musical trophy to the base also with a dog, each within an oval reserve and framed by draped bellflower swags, bordered by flowerheads to a band of entwined ribbon, the sides with cherub masks supporting floral swags on a diaper ground, scroll band to top rim with floral rosettes and scallop shells.
