The cover set to centre with an oval enamel miniature of Lake Geneva with mountains beyond, within a gold acanthus band frame, to a gold stipple ground featuring foliate flourishes, a round cabochon turquoise to each corner of a rectangular blue enamel line border, the outer rim with spaced band of turquoise stones on a stipple ground, the sides and base finely chased and engraved in red, lemon, yellow and white gold with raised foliate scrolls, flowerheads and two recumbent lions featuring to the centre of the base.
