This exceptional table is a rare survival. The top is veneered with outstanding figuration and retains a glorious colour and patination. The quality and detailing of the blind fretwork is second to none and the fact that it has survived in such an untouched state is remarkable.

The top veneered in finely figured and carved mahogany and edged with a flower and dart moulding. The frieze with blind fret work with carve flowers and a drawer on the right hand side. Finished with rope twist astragal. The legs similarly finely carved with acanthus leaves and an incised diaper design.
