Provenance: Formerly in the Private Collection of Germain Watrin (1905-1978), Paris, acquired in Egypt between 1935 and 1940, photographed in the family home at 53 boulevard Saint Michel.
Thence by descent to his son Pierre Watrin (accompanied by a signed provenance statement from Pierre Watrin and French cultural passport 2022 DNF 0033).
