The quality of the cabinetwork of this elegant table is outstanding. This together with a glorious colour and untouched patination makes this a particularly rare example.


The semi elliptical top diagonally veneered in rosewood and cross banded in tulipwood and figured in rosewood. The frieze finely carved with egg and dart moulding over fluting interspersed with carved paterae and beaded astragal supported by four legs, fluted and finely carved and terminating in lobed feet.
