A fine Louis XV ormolu-mounted amaranth bureau plat.
The serpentine leather-lined top framed by molded border and clasps to the corners, above a frieze opening with three drawers on one side and three simulated drawers to the reverse, with C-scrolls escutcheons, roses, foliate keyholes and drooping handles, on four facetted cabriole legs headed by foliate chutes and terminating in scrolling sabots.
