Description & Technical information
The ivory silk satin ground is embroidered with floss silks in stem stitch, with a central mask in two strapwork cartouches surrounded by cupids, birds and flowers within three narrow and three wider borders containing acanthus leaves, birds, flowers, sphinxes, masks and squirrels.
