Description & Technical information

These impressive and enormous candelabra with their extravagant ormolu mounts would have been a special commission.
A drawing for similar candelabra by Blades is preserved in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
A similar set of candelabra was commissioned by the King of Persia; another set is in the collection of the Sultan of Brunei.
