Description & Technical information
This is an impressive pair of classical vases on stands, based on the shape of the famous Roman Medici Vase. The arms are those of Henley impaling Fane for Joseph Warner Henley who married Georgina Fane in 1816. Henley was a Member of Parliament for Oxfordshire 1841-1878. From 1874-78 he was the eldest member of the House of Commons.
