A very fine pair of Chinese export porcelain vases of baluster form, with domed knopped covers, brightly painted in famille rose enamels with panels of birds and flowers, the knops painted as lotus buds.
The enamelling is of exceptional quality and fineness on these vases, the birds in particular painted with delicacy and vivacity.
