Louis XV period gold oval snuffbox

Very fine oval-shaped box in chased gold decorated with ovoid moldings on all sides. The center of the lid and base are inlaid with a rosette of leaves.  Louis XV period, 18th century.
Hallmark: portcullis, 1756-1762.
Discharge mark: shell, 1756-1762.
Letter date A crowned for Paris, 1756-1762.
