Piet Design

Piet Design was founded in 1990 by Elisabeth (Piet) Rijkels-Visser (1972). In the 1980's Piet had already been turning cardboard boxes into houses and bridges to play with, and while still at school her first cardboard model was published. Many models were to follow and while Piet read architecture at Delft University, Piet Design grew into a professional design studio. The historically sound products are now to be found in museums, bookstores and design shops in The Netherlands and abroad.
