The engraved part is associated with the rising sun and regeneration. This scarab is inscribed on the underside with the name of the sun god Amun-Ra, placed beneath a large lotus bud and above a nb sign, the hieroglyph for Lord. Cable border. Pierced lengthwise. Beautiful conservation.

Two swivel ring with similar scarab from The Chantress of Amun, Henettawy, died in around 1000 BCE, Metropolitan Museum NY, 25.3.192. The tumb was excavated in 1923-24
