Description & Technical information
This embroidered textile features a six-winged seraph surrounded by evenly spaced flowers and dots. Georgian script is written below the seraph and around the four borders of the textile, and a tassle hangs from the bottom corner.
The inner text can be read as:
შენითა და სუფევითა წარემართე და სუფევდი 'let your kingdom be'
The outer text as:
ამის შემამკობელი დაამკვიდროს ღმერთმა სამოთხესა შინა თვისს 'may God let this decorator dwell in His paradise'.
