An Italian neoclassical side table, in pine wood, blue and ivory painted and gilded, supporting a rectangular slab of excavation Egyptian porphyry, surrounded on three sides by a gilt pastiglia borderthe frieze centred with a profile portrait of Seneca and the corners with gilt lion masks, the side on a carved frieze on square tapering legs.
Sicilian, late 18th century.
