Description & Technical information

This jug has a globular body, flared neck and curved handle, and sits on a ring foot. It is underglaze-painted in cobalt blue, turquoise, black and orange with carnations and tulips wrapping around the body and neck. Two bands mark the edges of the neck; the lower highlighted with leaves and the upper with flowers. The painted decoration sits against a white slip ground.
