Description & Technical information
The spirally fluted compressed globular body with raised beaded ribs in between bands of stylised lotus leaves, the gently S-shaped hexagonal spout engraved with lilies and ending in a dragon head terminal, the hollow handle with centrallly placed lidded opening. A similar example is illustrated in mark Zebrowski, Gold, Silver and Bronze from Mughal India, London 1997, no 206.
