Dimension 1.45 x 1 x 0.7 cm (0⁵/₈ x 0³/₈ x 0¹/₄ inches)

Steatite scarab seal with fine naturalistic details: head, wings and legs on the back, and the reverse with a flat base inscribed with hieroglyphs: the sun disc (Ra), ntr (god) the divine falcon flanked with a cobra (Horakthy?), nb (Lord) sign beneath. Beautiful conservation. Pierced through the length for threading.
