Medium Amethyst, 15k gold

The rounded ring extending in broader shoulders of vegetal pattern is surmounted by an elongated oval box-setting carefully engraved with lotus flower alternated of semi-circular symbol. In the center, a finely carved amthyst scarab, inspired from the Ancient Egyptian scarab rings. 
A beautiful example of the Egyptian Revival taste during the Grand Tour and neoclassical era.
