Coronation Portrait of HM King Charles III

From 19th to 31st of October 2026, the gallery will present an impressive large-scale Coronation Portrait of His Majesty King Charles III, undertaken by Dr. Suan-Seh Foo was commissioned by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia on behalf of the Government of Nova Scotia. Dr. Suan-Seh Foo is a noted Toronto painter of Institutional portraits. The portrait was completed with the invaluable assistance of Ede and Ravenscroft, London, UK and The Royal Regiment of Canada, Toronto. This would be a good opportunity to view another official portrait of The King for a Province of Canada, before it is returned to Government House, Halifax, Nova Scotia. View the Press Release
