Description & Technical information

Glass executed by: Lötz Witwe, Klostermühle

Décor: Neuer roter Cytisus

Tension on the rim, otherwise excellent condition.

Vases with Cytisus décor are almost without exception hallmarks of the most creative period of glassmaking. This interestingly rhythmic décor marked by a multitude of colourful effects, which is also very close to contemporary Viennese
paintings (such as Klimt's Beethoven series of 1902), was used almost
exclusively on designs with vividly undulating contours.
