Description & Technical information

Weight: 24.5g, centred by the right-facing profile of a classical maiden, painted in monochrome red on a blue ground, to a round rose diamond frame, set within a floral gold frame, the oval link bracelet formed by entwined floral and scroll garlands, each join alternating flowerheads and acorns.
Workshop mark probably for Alfred Menu, who was regularly commissioned by Boucheron. Reference: 'The Belle Epoque of French Jewellery 1850-1910' p.139, with an example of similar enamelling on a watch jewel, p.144, cat.72..
