The cover featuring a scene of rustic life amongst classical ruins, figures to the foreground, one playing a trumpet, another carrying a young child in arms, two cows to centre, a church like building far right, on a sable ground, chased gold scroll rim embellished by floral sprays and swags, similar scenes around the sides with animals, and to the base with a mother and child, rococo scroll fluted borders, the sides also with a diaper pattern to the upper rim.
