Description & Technical information
Gold, rectangular snuff box with a hinged lid featuring a micromosaic outlined with a small band of royal blue enamel. The micromosaic represents the Pantheon and its square, which has a fountain and obelisk. The obelisk is framed with rinceau and rose motifs in bright gold set on a mat gold background. The sides of the box are also embellished with scrolling foliage, roses and laurel wreaths on the corners, set on a mat gold background.
