Description & Technical information
Pair of bronze and marble candelabras with three branches each. The lights are supported by bronze caryatids with dark brown patination, who are dressed in long tunics à l’antique and have their backs to a pillar, forming the stem. The S-shaped ormolu lights are decorated with foliage and wreaths and end in a socket highlighted with interlacing and twisting patterns. The candlestick arms surround a central stem decorated with lilies in patinated bronze. The set rests on a two-tiered base adorned with friezes of interlacing and Cupids dancing and playing, which itself is supported by a cylindrical, white marble base.
