This small table is a demonstration of Viennese modernism at its best. The reduction to a rectangle, square and cube, in which the former can be inserted, was mastered with an admirable ease here. The small table seems to be a continuation of the foot section of the bed foot element designed by Josef Hoffmann, as it obviously also contains all the stylistic elements used there.
