Formed of six principal articulated gold leaf shaped panels, smaller openwork lyre shaped panels in between, the larger panels with curling foliage, set with three cushion shaped diamonds with a small half pearl border, surmounted by an emerald and ruby trio with pearl clusters, above an emerald and half pearl flowerhead cluster, the openwork sections also with foliate frames, pearls, emeralds and sapphires accenting, all above an openwork line of engraved scrolling foliage, curling and in high relief, secured upon a lower bar, the diamonds and gems all cut-down collet set, the gold all with matt ground and accentuated with engraved detail, partially open set, close set in the main, the gems of cushion, rounded and oval facetted cuts, the diamonds cushion cut excepting one earlier table cut, mixed full and half pearls.
