Rare Louis XVI commode of rectangular shape, "à ressaut" in Santo Domingo solid mohogany and veneer.
Stamped "Canabas" on the ridge of the bottom on the left hand side and the mark of the Jurande "JME".
Joseph Gengenbach called Canabas (1712- 1797) master in 1766.
