Description & Technical information
Kurds from Khorassan (eastern province of Iran) live now mostly around the city of Qushang. They produce a wide range of designs. Around 1900 mostly small rugs were woven and their vivid colours and geometrical patterns do very much show a link with the Caucasian pieces of the same period. Nowadays the carpets undergo the influence of Turcoman tribes who live in the same neighbourhood.
