The semi-circular tops veneered in well figured mahogany, cross-banded in fiddle back sycamore and inlaid with a design of palm fronds, further cross-banded in satinwood; the frieze banded in satinwood and inlaid with engraved palm fronds and a central fan patera; the four tapering legs headed by finely engraved double patera and terminating in block feet
