Designed and executed: Vienna, between 1902 and 1905
Beech, painted white, paint restored in places, original oilcloth upholstery, rear runner repaired, traces of use, good condition.
In the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts the students of professors Koloman Moser and Josef Hoffmann produced pieces of furniture that were, in the main, of exceptional Secessionist modernity, elegance and coherence. Up till now and despite extensive research it has not been possible to discover the name of the designer of this chair.
