The waisted case and bracket decorated overall with ormolu C-scrolls and foliate mounts.
The top surmounted by a figure of a Cupid holding an arrow in one's hand
and seating on a seahorse.
The hinged and glazed door decorated with a representation of a La Fontaine's fable, Le Corbeau et le Renard, cast in relief.
