Description & Technical information
The writing table is fitted with two long drawers to the front and dummy drawers to the sides and the reverse, with later brass knob handles. The finely chased brass edge moulding is original. The gold tooled dark maroon leather insert is also original.
Writing tables made of satinwood are rare. The shallow frieze allows for plenty of legroom.
