An Empire ormolu mounted mahogany armchair, attributed to Francois Honore' Georges Jacob Desmalter (1770-1841). A very similar earlier tilt wood armchair in Compiegne Castle was delivered by Jacob Desmalter in 1809 for la chambre de l'imperatrice.
