Description & Technical information
A similar mirror was advertised in Antique collector by in February 1960 by Biggs of Maidenhead Ltd. Although the two mirrors show slight variations in the carving , both must originate from the same workshop.
The quality of the carving is exceptional and is similar to work by Linnell, Chippendale and Johnson, but a firm attribution is not possible.
