The heard shaped back form of interlocked scrolls incorporating a central conforming splat.. The drop in seat upholstered with yellow eighteenth century raw silk bourette dropping into a shaped frame raised on two carved cabriole legs with scrolls, acanthus and terminating in claw and ball feet.

These beautifully drawn side chairs combine an elegance of design with finely carved details. The mahogany has mellowed over the centuries to a wonderful rich colour and has acquired a glorious patina.
