Description & Technical information
Each featuring an oval polychrome enamel of a seated figure with trees beyond, one a lady wearing a pink, white and blue dress and with high black bonnet with a jaunty feather to one side, she remonstrates to her dog stood up on hind legs and with paw upon her lap as though about to jump up, the other figural enamel featuring a youth kneeling in purple and yellow outfit beside a basket of fruit and flowers, both framed in gold in the form of a stylised laurel swag, the leaves delineated by bright cut engraving, similarly decorated to the reverse around gold panels inset with enamelled blue trailing foliage, white flowerhead and dark blue line border, each topped by an engraved gold acanthus leaf with pearl centre, and hung to the bottom with a small pearl.
