Based on the cost estimate of 7 December 1950, albeit with slight amendments, Mr. O. Rhomberg commissioned Max Welz with executing the bar cabinet for his apartment in Vienna. This bar cabinet was subsequently manufactured in 1951, this date is also engraved on one door handle, while the other handle shows the initials O.R.
This bar cabinet is one of Oswad Haertl's most important furniture designs and was made as a unique piece for Mr. and Mrs. Oskar Rhomberg.
